Volunteer

"The deeds you do may be the only sermon some persons will hear today."

-St. Francis of Assisi

What Volunteering looks like at House of Faith-Abilene

Elementary Club

Our Elementary Neighborhood Bible Clubs meet on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.  Volunteers enjoy spending time with children by playing games with them, assisting during lesson time with fun object lessons, games, memorizing bible verses, teaching bible stories and small groups activities. Everything is provided from lessons, supplies, play equipment and even snacks, so all you have to do is come to the club.

Xodus Youth Group

On Thursday evenings our Xodus volunteers are encouraged to create connections during our hang out times, dive deep into God's word during small group time, and to be a listening ear throughout the whole night. Xodus volunteers are given a lesson outline so that everyone knows what the lessons topics will be. Being an encouraging mentor to our youth and sharing the love of Jesus is truly what makes us unique.
